Just wanted to put up a quick post to remind everyone that there are....
NO "LEAH DILLON PERSONAL TRAINING" CLASSES TOMORROW,
(it's been a planned schedule change since the March schedule came out. spending some quality time w/my girls in the "burgh".)
We will resume strong and hard first thing on Monday morning at 6:00 am!!!
Some other quick notables....
-Tuesday is April 1st...no foolin'! Which means a new "leahdillon.org" class schedule.
-Not many changes except some of the circuit formats change and rotate around a little. And "Barre" class on Friday switches back to Thursday at 9:15 am. So "Barre" availability is Tuesdays 8:00 am, Thursdays 9:15 am, and Sundays at 8:45 am (please remember to sign up and reserve on-line. Sundays class is usually brimming so I just want to make sure I have enough equipment...I'll buy more if needed!)
-"Hold On!" is back and will be on Tuesdays! I know some of you think that class is "TOO HARD!". I say "TOO BAD!"...raise your hand in class next time if you want easy, You know I'm kind of kidding...all classes can be appropriate for all levels. Work your hardest...and you belong in any class. I also know some of you feel uncomfortable having a partner and that you might hold them back a little. I always say..."turn it around"...would you feel someone is holding YOU back or would you feel motivated just by the sheer effort of someone working hard by your side regardless of where they are at on their journey? We all work together in my classes...whether it is partners or not.
-People's asses and abs (and other areas) are getting "harder" from just a few weeks of little ol' "Barefoot at the Barre" class. Just sayin'! This class is not a typical barre class! There is no dance or ballet involved at all. If you know me, I am far from a ballerina :) We use the barre for balance, correct posture and form, and range of motion. Each class consists of about 15 minutes of lower body burn, 15 minutes of upper body burn, and 15 minutes of abs on fire, the remainder is a little bit of warm up and some pretty solid stretching at the end. The heaviest dumbbells used so far have been 8 lbs. and the postures we use them within makes them almost too heavy (I have 3's and 5's available which are usually enough). We are sweating and wincing and I'm "barking" orders and prompting the whole time. And the boys at the barre???? Are admittedly getting their asses kicked :) Real men do barre!!!
-Friday 9:15 am Barre class switched back to Thursdays at 9:15 am.
-Check my website often...there will be 3 "Pop Up" work outs during April. So many people keep requesting classes on Wednesdays and Saturdays. All kidding aside...I'm a little concerned about committing to that long term bc I don't want to have to cancel classes more than a few times a year for personal scheduling conflicts. Having 2 days a week with no classes allows for me to schedule PT on those days, run a few races a year, go to the dentist, and maybe sleep in every once in awhile. So...enter the "Pop Up" class.
THE FIRST "POP UP" CLASS WILL BE AT 6:00 AM WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9TH. "Pop Up" classes may occur indoor at the Karate Studio or possibly outdoors locally off-site. They will come off of your class card or be included in your monthly unlimited just like other classes.

-Remember, I am always open to suggestions regarding class ideas and schedule changes.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you so much for a great, great first quarter! It's been so fun and rewarding doing what I love to do with all of you. A dream come true really!!! For those of you that haven't visited me at New Hope Karate yet, your first class is always free so I would love see some of you that I haven't seen in awhile!
Here's to April, spring, and our good health!!
