Happy June!!! I've been waiting for this day since last October! I'm a "summer"!
I know this post is long, but it is my form of a newsletter. Just easier and quicker than all of the fancy graphic stuff. I'm not offended at all if you don't have the time for it :) I know I talk a lot...acknowledgement is the first step...so I've heard!
I wanted to remind everyone about the summer schedule at Leah Dillon Personal Training:

30 DAY AB CHALLENGE!!!
I see on Facebook that many of you have signed up for or "joined" the challenge. It's basically just a calendar to keep you on track for doing extra ab work for the whole month of June! It starts today so it's not too late. Get in your bikinis bikinis by 4th of July! I'm not giving up damn it! For those of you that are not on Facebook, here are some links if you would like to get in on the challenge as well:
(If you can't "click through" with the links, copy and paste into your browser)

I am very excited to begin another "30 DAY CHALLENGE" tomorrow morning with my daughter Juliet.
We have chosen to make a commitment for the next 30 days to the Isagenix program.
I'm a little hesitant to pass on the information because my intention is not to "sell" or endorse this product. I've just chosen it because my daughter seemed motivated by it and some of my clients that introduced this program to me have seen amazing results so far (those being a 25 lb. weight loss, 11 lb. weight loss and a friend of theirs losing 18 lbs.) but most notable is the way they "feel" overall.
Shake and non-food programs are not usually my "thing" and I can't say that I believe it be the healthiest way to lose or maintain weight but many of you know that I feel strongly about the fact that BEING OVERWEIGHT IS NOT HEALTHY EITHER! Sorry if people are turned off or put off by my philosophy on that but I'll never feel differently.
So if something like this gives people a jump start that they would never otherwise get or do on their own, I'm not going to knock the approach.
The other reason I am including this info in my email is that when I told some people in class that we were starting, they asked me to send them the info. "They" asked "me". So then I figured maybe some other people would want it as well.
If you are interested but not sure and/or skeptical, I will give some updates here on my website as my month unfolds and then you can let me know if you want more info. If you think you are interested immediately, it takes about 4 or 5 business days to get the products mailed to you. I looked to see if you can buy it on Amazon. It seems that you can but it's about double the cost. Again, I am not pushing or endorsing!!! Especially since I haven't tried it yet. But once I decided I was going to make the commitment, I couldn't wait to get started!
I thought it sounded expensive until I realized the savings on 2 meals a day. If you figure breakfast and lunch cost you a minimum of $10.00 per day (combined) it's pretty in-line. Plus you get a bunch of snacks and other items that compliment the "cleanse" and weight loss. My client wanted me to note that Isagenix explains this 30 day program as a "nutritional cleansing program" and the weight loss is an added bonus. It's not a colon cleanse or a "shit yourself thin" plan. That was my terminology not hers.
Here is the info: If you want more details, I can try to get you answers from my client I bought it from ASAP:
"basic" 30 day system $269 + $29 "membership fee" (my exact total for this was $324.32 tax and shipping i guess)
the bigger, more comprehensive "pacesetter" pak $399 (my exact total..i bought this one for my daughter and we are going to share some of the extra snacks and shakers and stuff...was $431.21)
in this more expensive package you get the following things above what you would get for the basic package:
-Isalean Bars (when you can't have a shake) $26
-IsaDelight Plus (chocolate - helps on cleanse days) $40
-Blender and cups (this is really small - a nice thing to have on vacation or in the office) $??
-E+ shots (lifesaver when going through caffeine withdrawal and for the afternoon slump) $19
-3 @ 4 piece sample (includes three shaker bottles and product samples) $10 value x 3 = $30
ONE LAST THOUGHT....I was watching "Esquire" channel last night. First of all, even though I am definitely not a 25 to 45 year old guy (I'm older), I love that channel. I'm also still enjoying the "Cosmopolitan Vegas Hotel" commercial they play at least 6 times each show...not kidding, can't watch it too many times....sexy and it's got a good beat! I'll deal with what might be an issue surrounding that later. Anyway, how can you not love "American Ninja Warrior" and this crazy, stupid, indulgent show "Lucky Bastards" (don't ask me to explain). But what struck me so profoundly last night was while I was watching that show "Boundless". These guys go around the world and do some of the most radical physical challenges. And while I was watching it, I was thinking "when do these guys work out so they can do these things?" Then it occurred to me that they do this all of the time so as a result they just have gotten more fit and more efficient at (and mostly ready for) these things. Doing it IS their work-out! So many people tell me they can't do my classes or train with me or run...they aren't "ready" or they have to lose weight or start "slower" first but just like on this show...
"IF YOU DO IT, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DO IT BETTER....EVENTUALLY!!!"
So ridiculously basic but...if you don't do it, you'll never, ever do it better!
I think that's enough for today! Whew!!! JUNE IS JUMPING!!!
or it will be for me anyway :)
